Manager Group: Human Interface Toolbox

The Human Interface Toolbox consists of a group of libraries that implement the Mac OS human interface. Nearly all of their functions are supported in Carbon. The major exceptions are the APIs for the Standard File Package and the Edition Manager. You use Navigation Services in place of Standard File Package. To help you transition away from the Edition Manager, Apple will provide a mechanism for you to open documents that contain editions.
