NAME
     pthread_self -- get the calling thread's ID

SYNOPSIS
     #include <pthread.h>

     pthread_t
     pthread_self(void);

DESCRIPTION
     The pthread_self() function returns the thread ID of the calling thread.

RETURN VALUES
     The pthread_self() function returns the thread ID of the calling thread.

ERRORS
     None.
