Leopard Guides: QuickTime
Wired movies are movies scripted to make calculations and take actions in response to events such as user actions, display of a particular sample, or the passage of real time. Sprites are scriptable objects that can be animated at runtime and made interactive. Other QuickTime media, such as Flash and text, can also be scripted or made interactive.
