FSpGetFInfo

You can use the FSpGetFInfo function to obtain the Finder information about a file or directory.

FUNCTION FSpGetFInfo (spec: FSSpec; VAR fndrInfo: FInfo): OSErr;

spec

An FSSpec record specifying the file or directory whose Finder information is desired.

fndrInfo

Information used by the Finder.

DESCRIPTION

The FSpGetFInfo function returns the Finder information from the volume catalog entry for the specified file or directory. The FSpGetFInfo function provides only the original Finder information--the FInfo or DInfo records, not FXInfo or DXInfo.
