I'm trying to capture video to a Movie file using the Sequence
Grabber and a DV source. I've created a single channel with
a channelType of VideoMediaType and I haven't created a audio
channel. Despite this, the Sequence Grabber still captures
audio, what's going on?
A:
This is expected behavior when capturing in native DV format
- the audio data is interleaved with the video. The Sequence
Grabber capturing from a video channel therefore captures
the audio as well. Remember, you can always delete the audio
track from the resulting movie if needed.
