Correcting a PackageMaker version.plist and BundleVersions.plist problem

Q: Why is the Installer ignoring the version.plist information in my PackageMaker package?

A: PackageMaker 1.1.10 is incorrectly adding the Default Location to paths in the BundleVersions.plist.

Once you have created your package with PackageMaker, compare the path for the "to be installed" items as described in the Archive.bom file (using lsbom in Terminal) to the path shown in the BundleVersions.plist. The BundleVersions.plist should have the path that the .bom file uses, but if not you will need to edit it.
