Transparency Not Working on Some Machines

Q: Why doesn't transparency work on my PowerPC 8100, 7200, or 6100?

A: The transparency attribute will only work if you have acceleration hardware installed. All current QuickDraw 3D Acceleration cards are PCI-based. The computers listed don't have PCI slots (i.e., they can't have the QuickDraw 3D acceleration hardware), therefore transparency in QuickDraw 3D is not supported.
