Assigning Keystroke Combinations

Q I want to assign two keystroke combinations: The first one would suspend a stitch operation, thus allowing users to manually adjust the stitch alignment. They would use the second keystroke combination to restart the stitcher when they're finished making the adjustment. Does this sound feasible?

A You don't need to assign keystroke combinations to do this. Simply include the -i switch in your stitch command. With this switch, the stitch operation pauses after displaying the first two pictures and remains paused until the user presses <Return>. The commands described on page 9-15 of the QuickTime VR User's Guide should be used to make the adjustments.
