Calling the Resource Manager from a Patch

Q I have a patch that calls the Resource Manager. The patch is only called atnon-interrupt time, but sometimes the system crashes. Is calling the Resource Manager from a patch illegal?

A Calling the Resource Manager from a patch that executes at non-interrupt time is not illegal. However, several Resource Manager calls depend on having a valid A5 world. If the A5 world isn't set up correctly, the Resource Manager calls that depend on a valid A5 world will crash the system.
