Mac OS X Server is a UNIX-based operating system built on the Mac OS X Darwin core. It provides enterprise-class features such as preemptive multitasking, symmetric multiprocessing, and support for multiple networking and security standards. Mac OS X Server is a powerful Java deployment platform, offering complete Java 2 and J2EE support. Application servers are also included with Mac OS X Server, including WebObjects, JBoss, and Tomcat.
