Tools related to syncing include tools for building iSync device plug-ins and for testing syncing applications. iSync Plug-in Maker allows developers to create plug-ins according to the specific features supported by a device and to run a suite of standard automated tests. Syncrospector is a debugging tool for inspecting clients, the truth database, and the call history of sync sessions for any Cocoa application. Developers can also use Syncrospector to manually test iSync phone plug-ins--for example, force a particular sync mode for a device.
