The Mac OS X printing system supports a wide variety of PostScript and raster printers and offers advanced graphics features such as an industry-standard PDF spooling format and high-quality color rendering. The printing system also allows printer drivers and applications to present modular and extensible user interfaces based on Apple's human interface guidelines.
