Important: Sound Input Manager is deprecated as of Mac OS X v10.5. For new audio development in Mac OS X, use Core Audio. See the Audio page in the ADC Reference Library.
Two new sample sizes are supported, integer 24 and 32 bit, and named k24BitFormat and k32BitFormat, respectively. For this release, these samples are converted into 8 or 16 bit depending on the hardware.
