This version of advanced color imaging includes three documents:

• Advanced Color Imaging on the Mac OS: This electronic book provides conceptual information for enhancing your application's color capabilities; it also includes code samples that give step-by-step instructions for doing so. The ColorSync chapters have been revised to describe features added for version 2.1 of the ColorSync Manager. Formatting has been improved for all chapters, with cross-references updated for effective online viewing. In addition, minor errors have been corrected.
• Advanced Color Imaging Reference: This electronic book has also been revised for version 2.1 of the ColorSync Manager. It provides a reference chapter for each of the managers described in Advanced Color Imaging on the Mac OS. For example, the chapter "ColorSync Manager Reference for Applications and Device Drivers" provides a complete reference to the data structures, functions, and resources that your application can use to provide color conversion, color matching, and other ColorSync services. Formatting has been improved for all chapters, with cross-references updated for effective online viewing. In addition, minor errors have been corrected.
• What's New in Advanced Color Imaging on the Mac OS: This is a new document that lists the changes made for the revised advanced color imaging books and provides hypertext links to new and modified sections in the two books. It also describes the available formats for the advanced color imaging books and provides information on where to obtain them.
