Inside Macintosh: Cyberdog Programmer's Kit / Part 3 - Cyberdog Reference
Chapter 7 - Classes and Methods / CyberProgressReceiver

SetStatusString

Sets the status string associated with an asynchronous process.

void SetStatusString (in StringPtr statusStr,
in CyberProgressBroadcaster broadcaster);
statusStr
A pointer to a string buffer that contains the status string.
broadcaster
The progress broadcaster broadcasting the change.
DISCUSSION
This method is called by the CyberProgressBroadcaster::SetStatusString method to broadcast a new status string to all progress receivers attached to the broadcaster.

If you subclass CyberProgressReceiver, you must override this method. Your override must not call its inherited method; that is, your override method must implement this method's functionality completely.
