ContinueSpeech
You can use the ContinueSpeech function to resume speech paused by thePauseSpeechAtfunction.
FUNCTION ContinueSpeech (chan: SpeechChannel): OSErr;
chan- The paused speech channel on which speech is to be resumed.
DESCRIPTION
At any time after thePauseSpeechAtfunction is called, theContinueSpeechfunction can be called to continue speaking from the beginning of the word in which speech paused. CallingContinueSpeechon a channel that is not currently in a paused state has no effect on the speech channel or on future calls to thePauseSpeechAtfunction. If you callContinueSpeechon a channel before a pause is effective,ContinueSpeechcancels the pause.If the
PauseSpeechAtfunction stopped speech in the middle of a word, the Speech Manager will start speaking that word from the beginning when you callContinueSpeech.SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS
