Compressed and Uncompressed Samples in the Same Track

Q Is it a major problem to mix compressed and non-compressed data in a track's media? For instance, I want to place compressed and non-compressed samples into the same sound track.

A At this point DTS does not recommend doing this. You should place compressed data into one sound track, and non-compressed data into another sound track. Or, if you want to play the sound track under QuickTime for Windows, you should select either approach and build just one single track with either all compressed, or all uncompressed samples.
