public class InputConsole
extends Object

Method Detail

install

public static void install()
Deprecated. This method should not be needed anymore. The preferred way to install this stream is via the methods of the Redirector class.

Used to create a new InputConsole stream object, and associate this stream with System.in, such that subsequent calls on the standard input stream are redirected to this stream. This code is now obsolete, since it has been taken over by the code for the unified input and output console. This method is only needed for compatibility with code that was compiled against, and calls into, the pre-release MRJInputConsole API.
