public interface Translator

A service that can translate data from one DataFlavor to another. Translations are usually not invoked directly; instead, they're registered with a TranslationSet, which then looks up and invokes the proper Translator when presented with a particular translation task.

Throws:

UnsupportedFlavorException - if this is not a Translation I support

IOException - If an I/O exception occurs while translating the data
