How to Use This Book
The information in the Programmer's Guide to MacApp is organized to be used in any of several ways:
- For a general introduction, or to help gain an overall understanding of MacApp, read Chapter 1, "MacApp Overview."
- For detailed descriptions of how MacApp implements important components, read the chapters in Part 1, "MacApp Theory and Architecture."
- For sample code and step-by-step summaries describing how to add specific features to your application, and for information on topics not covered in Part 1, read the chapters in Part 2, "Working With MacApp."
- For information about the structure of the MacApp library and how to use the MacApp build system, see the appendixes.
