Functions
This section describes functions that you use only with endpoints. The first four subsections--"Creating Endpoints," "Binding and Unbinding Endpoints," "Obtaining Information About an Endpoint," and "Allocating Structures" -- describe functions that you can use with any endpoint. The remaining subsections describe functions that you can use only with specific types of endpoints, as indicated by the subsection title; for example, "Functions for Connectionless Transactionless Endpoints." Endpoint types are described in "Endpoint Types and Type of Service".You can also use general provider functions with endpoints. General provider functions and structures are described in "Providers Reference".
