Color Needs

You can use the following constants in the colorNeeds field of the context attributes structure to specify your program's preferences or requirements for color display:

   kDSpColorNeeds_DontCare = 0L,
   kDSpColorNeeds_Request  = 1L,
   kDSpColorNeeds_Require  = 2L
};

Constant descriptions

kDSpColorNeeds_DontCare
Display can be either color or grayscale.
kDSpColorNeeds_Request
Color display is preferred, but not required.
kDSpColorNeeds_Require
Color display is required.
