Activating and Deactivating an Edit Record
When your application receives notification of an activate event, it can call theTEActivateprocedure, which activates an edit record and highlights the selection range or displays a caret at the insertion point. When the activate event flag is set to deactivate the window, your application can call theTEDeactivateprocedure, which changes an edit record's status from active to inactive and removes the selection range highlighting or the caret. (When outline highlighting is on,TEDeactivateframes the text or displays a dimmed caret.)
