Bluetooth is a low-power, short-range wireless technology that is complementary to AirPort, Apple's wireless networking solution. Developers can design Bluetooth devices that work with Apple systems and can use Bluetooth and I/O Kit APIs to communicate with Bluetooth devices and present a consistent user interface to Bluetooth services.
