Scripting & Automation
Scripting provides a relatively simple mechanism for automating operations and controlling other software using text files. JavaScript can detect or interact with QuickTime in a browser, AppleScript can control QuickTime Player to automate workflow, and both XML and SMIL can be used to create QuickTime movies. XML and HTML can be used to pass instructions to QuickTime Player and the QuickTime browser and ActiveX control. |
