TEUpdate
TheTEUpdateprocedure draws the specified text within a given update rectangle.
PROCEDURE TEUpdate (rUpdate: Rect; hTE: TEHandle);
rUpdate- The update rectangle, given in the coordinates of the current graphics port, where the specified text is to be drawn.
hTE- A handle to the edit record containing the text to be drawn.
DESCRIPTION
CallTEUpdateevery time the Event Manager functionWaitNextEventreports an update event for a text editing window--after you call the Window Manager procedureBeginUpdate, and before you call theEndUpdateprocedure. You also need to erase the update region with theEraseRectprocedure. If you don't the caret can sometimes remain visible when the window is deactivated.SEE ALSO
